Honoring Our Veterans

The fourth grade shared a program of song and information as we celebrated Vereran's Day. This was the first time I had attempted this.  With the help of Mr. Smith and some very cooperative fourth graders the performance was quite a success.  We had many Veterans in attendance last night. One of the Veterans even remarked that he had never felt so special. For that reason alone, I am so glad that we took the time out of our busy schedule and made this happen.  If one person was touched, then to me this was completely worth it.  That's what I challenge myself to do on a daily basis....make a difference.  Last night, I did!  We did!!
